Intemperias

Intemperias is a series of mirrors and glass slabs crafted from the 19th century to the 1970s, once glamour decor then left vanishing into the darkness of cellars, courtyards, abandoned apartments and deserted villas. I look and find each of them differently weathered by time and elements. They reacts uniquely to my intrusions by revealing a hidden aesthetic identity shaped by the passage of years. I consider this transformative process time-based painting.

What awaits me at the outcome remains undefined and I deliberately choose to embrace the unpredictability of the creative journey: Manus Manum Lavat, the material suggests the gesture.
